Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather a skid in broadside, thouroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, “WOW—What a ride!” author unknown

That is a cool quote even though I don’t understand it. What does it mean it sounds cool.
It means that instead of watching and reading about other people’s adventures, to go out and live one. If you saw people coming off of a roller coaster ride excited, happy, thrilled, ready to go again….wouldn’t you want to jump on the roller coaster? It’s just no fun to sit on the sidelines watching the world experience the wonderful world God gave us. If we live our lives this way, open and ready to do whatever God tells us, when we get to the end of our lives we will have something to talk about—like, “Wow, what a ride!” and maybe even, “can we go again?!”
Great quote!
Heree a few more that I have always found meaningful:
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends. – Maya Angelou
Travel is rebirth. At the moment of departure, there is exposure and I begin to see the world with fresh eyes. – Lynn Gottlob
“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.” — Jawaharal Nehru
May each of us embark upon upon our own adventures and explorations with openess, humility and courage to learn, to grow, to change!
